Tell me the day is done.

For I have neither

Fight nor spirit,

Tell me the worlds collide.

So I need not,

Once again,

Rise to meet,

The challenge of the day.

 

Tell me time will run no more,

No further sun,

No further morn,

I welcome only the night,

So that my soul may seek in vain,

Abandonment,

Of my waking quest.
