Deep loneliness,

The pain of death,

My children gone,

Existing without me,

I crave a place under the water,

Sealed in silence,

Suspended in quietness,

Dead to the world.

 

How could it have come to this?

Just one wrong decision,

Or many more delusions?

Is there no hope?

Can anything ever be the same again?

Or is it gone forever?

The sun permanently blackened,

Innocence lost,

And a world of pain revealed.
